Athens Concert Hall
So much catching up to do!! I wish there were more hours in the day and that I had an assistant to take over the business part of selling and all the other details... and I could just paint and paint :)
I have been sending emails and visiting shops all over Greece and have been successful in making new contacts. You can now find my art at the Athens Concert Hall (Megaro Mousikis) and on the Greek Islands of Mykonos, Sifnos, Serifos. I will be posting the shops as soon as I get pics.
My other great news..... I'm going to Art School! I've just signed up to take Lilla Rogers e-course on how to Sell what you make. I think this is the next step for me, to be able to reach a broader audience and to sell my work word wide! wow, that's mind boggling and I so pray that my work is well accepted. Although I'm super excited about this course, I'm a bit nervous that I won't be good enough... The class starts June 3rd and our first assignment will be bolt fabric, and I'm clueless about it..yikes and yikes again!!
oh and I added some buttons on my blog, please tell me what you think.

RULE no 10
This is the last painting from the series on how to attract a man. These paintings will be part of my summer exhibition on the Greek Island of Sifnos. Opening night is July 19th. Sifnos is a beautiful island, famous for it's food and ceramics. If you are planning a vacation to the Greek Islands, I highly recommend you visit this gorgeous place. Plus I would be thrilled if you stop by the exhibition :))
Next on the agenda is fixing my blog..ughhh I hate all this technical stuff, but I need to turn this blog into a web site of sorts. Adding some buttons and pages. Any help would be sooo appreciated. I always get so confused with all this jargon etc. I recently bought my own domain and it took me for ever how to figure out getting traffic over to my blog. I think I figured it out by pure accident...
Have a wonderful weekend!!

RULE no 9
Happy Monday my friend!! Hope you are well. I've had several friends suggest that I make a book with all the rules, so that's what I'm working on. Another blog friend suggested I make a calender, which I find very exciting!! I would have to add two more rules, so any ideas are welcome :)

Two more rules to go :) The bubbles in this one are liquid glass. I'm really liking this effect on my paintings.

Rule NO 7
Do you see my excess baggage? hahahaha
It's Holy week here in Greece and everyone is getting ready for the biggest holiday of the year..Easter. Saturday night there is a midnight mass, where all the Greek people gather outside of church holding candles. The candles are a big thing here!! Everywhere you look, you see handmade candles(labades) being sold. One of the stores I sell my work to, will be using one of my pendants as an ornament for the labada :)
Easter day is celebrated with lots of food and music! It's tradition to cook lamb on a spit, ideally on an island.... but I will slow roasting mine in the oven with lots of rosemary and garlic. desert is Joanna's famous chocolate covered cheesecake ;0
Another tradition is Easter bread,(tsoureki) which is similar to challah bread, but sweeter.
Happy Easter to all the Greek people :) and Russian too, since we celebrate our Easters together.
