let's be friends

This  is my second itsy bitsy book.

it's an average life..

My blog friend Tracy asked me to create a painting inspired  her blog. She gave me a few hints of things that make her happy and gave me complete carte blanche. Tracy is a writer, so I had a pretty good idea of what I would create for her..a little girl writing poetry, under a tree, bees, flowers,etc etc.. but then I sat down at my table..and my hand just took over..lol  didn't want to play "safe".  Nothing average about ladybugs swimming in the sea . I was smiling the whole time I was painting and thought to myself.."yeah, she'll love this" and she did!!  Thank you Tracy for the inspiration :)

My other news is that, opening night for the "Homo Sapiens in Love" was a huge success! I have never seen so many people attend a show, like this, before. It was so exciting to see my sculpture get so much attention, I wanted to stay all night and listen to the beautiful comments! lol. My friends had to drag me away at 2 am. I will be posting pics as soon as the curator sends them out, because the ones that I took..are lousy! I think I had too many gin tonics that evening! lol

"Homo Sapiens in Love" exhibition

This Friday is the opening reception at Booze, here in Athens, Greece. MTV is one of our sponsors and this exhibition is getting so much publicity, it sounds to be an exciting show! The participating artists are from The UK, Brazil, Lebanon, Norway and Greece. I'm thrilled to be part of this! I will be exhibiting three pieces and if you are here in Athens, stop by :)) I would love to meet you!

No fear No guilt

Do you sometimes feel like you're putting your needs on the back burner in order to please others?  so people can say that you are doing the "proper" thing?... and then one day you finally "wake up"?!
This is what my first itsy bitsy book is about.
No fear, No guilt! 
Sometimes we just have to make that big leap, to be able to continue making small steps to find our happiness!

Where do you, find courage and strength?..  I am blessed to have the support of my grown up daughters and my dearest friends!

I say..let's vote to have "friendship day"!! to honour our friends!! yes?

Silly BB! I get it! you're fed up with Daisy the poodle again! right?! and you think trading her with a fish is the answer?... think again! Daisy is not going to like this one bit!!
