Mardi Gras

This is my entry for Mixed Media Monday.  Enjoy!!
I almost didn't enter this piece. All week I've been walking around in a daze and would just stare at my canvas! How I hate being stuck like that! and to be honest this theme was giving me trouble. So this afternoon as I was cleaning my brushes and putting everything away frustrated that I hadn't been inspired for this theme, plus it was Valentines day and all the radio stations were playing these sobby stupid songs adding to my frustration...Not everybody has a valentine to celebrate with!!!  you idiot djs!!  my valentine is far away...uhhh. so anyway as I was putting my stuff away... it clicked!! just like that..Daisy my little valentine girl and my muse!! What would she dress up at carnivale ?  Just like that!!  so I sat down again and painted like I had a fever! Carnivale fever!! enjoy and hope you have a creative week!!!

    Laissez les bons temps rouler! So glad you were able to get into the Mardi Gras mood. The colors here are hot and spicy just like the food and the atmosphere of the Crescent City this week!
