The icing on the cake

This is where I was on Monday. I was manning " The icing on the cake", my friend's specialty boutique while she was visiting the island of Paros.  It's the cutest little store and when I first saw it, it reminded me of an art gallery for children :)

Does that baby blanket look familiar?
Being there brought back memories from when I lived in the US. I belonged to a co op gallery in Alexandria, VA.  at the Torpedo Factory, which was an actual torpedo factory! I showed my textiles there and once a month I would man the gallery :)  what a great experience that was! The whole building was full of art studios! Talking about energy! At the end of the day I felt so inspired and lucky.
