My goal for the next few weeks, is to prepare my journal, so I can take it with me to the Greek islands...sigh... sitting by the beach and painting... ohhhh can't wait!!

Love your watermelon girl! Have a wonderful vacation. Hope it cools off some! The heat has been terrible in Missouri--over 100 almost every day. Brutal!

Hi, Joanna. I agree, water melon is a great subject for the heat. Lovely piece. You're quite courageous to paint in the heat. I can only manage hand stitching while glued to the AC. 110 F in the shade today. Only my fingers can manage to move!
