summer of colour- red

The theme for summer of colour is red and he colour fits right in, since the temperature here in Athens, Greece is 97 degrees!! yikes! It's kind of hard working in this weather..all I can think about is the beach and how much I need a vacation. 
I forgot to say the lettering means Daisy in Japanese!! lol

    What a wonderful piece! She looks a little pissed off from the heat no doubt. :) We have rain today and a bit of a cool down but last week was so hot I couldn't paint right cause my paint was drying out too quickly. :)

    Daisy...of course, that was going to be my guess!!! It's hot here in the states too...although I'd much rather be in Athens than here in Jersey :P

    I love it...I have a friend from high school that married a Greek man and moved over there... I do not think she is in Athens though...I think she is on Crete...anyway, adorable piece :)
