confusion..

Haven't figured out yet what was going "through" my head as I was painting this one.. A little confusion is ok, as long as it doesn't last too long. right?!  Things always fall into place, eventually.. I can feel  that positive energy just around the corner..:)

A bit late with my entry for the 365 challenge..even though I started working on it weeks ago.. I must have repainted this spread at least three times, since I couldn't make up my mind! lol

art therapy

Hope you are well and had a beautiful Easter, my friend. Please forgive me for not posting, I have been staying with my mom and still am, and internet connection is real poor..so here I am, at Starbucks, drinking coffee, thinking about you and how your art is coming along..
All I can say for my post today is...thank God for my art! and my mom for being here and taking such good care of me, when I truly need her :)
What would we do if we didn't have our art to escape and to express our true feelings?..do you ever think of that? how lucky we are as artists?..

why all the drama?..

There's something about this Greek sun, that no matter how bad things may be, gives me hope and makes me feel all warm inside! and smile :)) We must try and see the positive and know  there's always a solution for everything. right?! Transitions are hard sometimes, but I try to look at the bigger picture and see it as a new chapter in my life, a new begining, new dreams. We are the ones that complicate our lives. why?  Put on some music and create!! create and dream! pour yourself on that canvas, let yourself go and don't care how it comes out. It will be from your soul. That's all that matters. To be true to yourself! and everything else will fall into place.

happy monday! happy spring!

Finally true Spring weather!! I can't believe that NYC had a milder winter than we did, here, in Athens, Greece!

This where I was yesterday...picking wild flowers in the park and enjoying incredibly weather in the high sixties :))

I found this huge patch of what looks like grape hyacinth or muscari..if anyone knows what these flowers are, please let me know.

smile, good things are ahead :)

Blocking everything out and daydreaming is what I love when I'm painting. I just let my subconscious take over and find myself in a different world... a world full of happy thoughts, sunshine,laughter and positive thoughts.. Good things are ahead, I can just feel it!  What do you dream about when you're painting?
Can you see my crochet flowers? I've made so many, that they are taking over my journal pages. Lol

One thing that I miss from the US is being able to find stores that sell unpainted furniture at reasonable prices..not so cheap here in Greece.. I painted these pieces back home and I always smile when I look at them :) they make me happy.
