My new take on Red! I do have an obsession with this story and keep making art about her. I just haven't figured out why..

Well,  my next post will be loaded with lots of pics from the Greek Islands!! yay! finally vacation time is a couple of days away!! and I can't wait!!

For the last week of SOC, I made this little fox dancing in the sun and he's so happy and inspired, in his glowing forest..dancing among the trees, enjoying his time alone, dreaming and planning his day :)

Blue Elephanti

My entry for SOC is ''Blue Elephanti" which I loved creating!!
     Working with such a limited color palette has been real interesting for me and with no real effort and that really surprised me, since I am all about color! lots of it!!  The very first week of SOC, was a shock for me, only two colors and a splash of a third one...yikes!!  There's no way I'd be able to stick with these weekly challenges, but I did and I'm loving this!! Thank you Kristen for your inspiration <3 p="">

My Lotus

 This is my entry for week three over at  Twinkle, Twinkle.This is not my usual color combination and I was a bit taken aback when I saw it, but when I started layering these colors on my canvas I could see why Kristin chose them. It is an elegant combination, isn't it?  I've hung it right above my desk so I can study it a bit...I'm still not sure if I should add some lime and orange to it..tempting.

  

    In the last few weeks, I kept hearing about friends visiting India and kept falling upon pictures about it and it's been one of the themes I want to further explore.There is something mesmerizing about India and it's a place I would love to visit.

My dream tonight

     

    

     Have I ever told you that I suffer from sleeping disorder? Ever since I was young I had trouble falling asleep and always wake up several times during the night...ugh.. I've tried every remedy under the sun and moon, well the last few years I take melatonin and that seems to help, but sometimes I get the weirdest dreams..and my dreams are in color!! really!
     The other night I had this really annoying recurring dream about this painting I had just finished, So in this dream, that kept waking me up, like a hundred times, I kept seeing the same painting over and over and over again, but in different colors! Do I like it in yellow?...yes, no, maybe...and then again! Do I like it in blue?..yes, no, maybe....and then again!! and all night long I kept dreaming about the same stupid painting, which I really love in real life..  ughhhhhh all night long I dreamt  the same painting in all the colors of the rainbow!!!
    So for tonight...I'd like to special order this newest painting for my dream....a nice peaceful dream, filled with flowers, stars and with a splash of red, to keep the story interesting and no waking up, please!!! Thank you :)
